Crossref registration uses an active membership or appropriate authorised arrangement, a prefix and publication metadata. Prepare titles, authors, dates and stable article URLs. Registrar costs are agreed separately.

A displayed DOI does not by itself confirm accepted registration. Check a sample export, registrar response and DOI link. Define responsibility for later metadata corrections as part of handover.
