Start with a backup and a trial
Create a backup and review recovery first. Migrate one issue or selected papers before the full archive. Compare text, languages, files and page ranges with the source.
Article URLs are part of migration
Map existing article URLs to their new destinations. Where URLs change, prepare redirects to the corresponding papers. After launch, recheck PDFs, search and the issue archive.

Yes, we first inspect samples. We assess whether articles and metadata can be extracted from text-based issues. Uncertain or missing information is reviewed with the editorial team.
